Recently, the ultra-high voltage company of the Southern Power Grid issued a notice to deploy the hidden danger management and risk prevention and control work of the final circuit breaker protection function of the DC project, and put forward relevant work requirements. After months of hard work, the company once again made breakthroughs in DC technology, timely found four hidden dangers and risks that may lead to DC single-bipolar block, developed corresponding prevention and control measures, overcome major technical problems in the final circuit breaker protection function verification of DC engineering, and filled the industry gap in the field of DC power transmission, with pioneering significance.

In view of the problem that comprehensive on-site verification could not be realized, the research team has held 13 technical discussions, adopted steps and focused on checking logic and signals to verify the in-operation and new DC projects, carried out 280 equipment interval loop transmission, 550 pages of station control software program verification, and completed more than 5,000 simulation test projects.
